Experience a night in the rainforest and feel the jungle vibes with this 2 days trek! After an amazing first trekking day full of discoveries, relax on our campsite near the river or the waterfall. Refresh yourself and take a swim before having a homemade dinner. Then enjoy a entertaining evening chatting and playing games with your guides around a bonfire. Fall asleep with jungle sounds. The next morning, enjoy a yummy breakfast and go deeper in the jungle to see more wildlife before going back to Bukit Lawang by tubing!

Itinerary
Day 1: Jungle Trekking Adventure
After breakfast, your guide will pick you up at your guesthouse around 9:00 AM.
You’ll start with a scenic walk along the river, then trek uphill through rubber plantations to the entrance of Gunung Leuser National Park.
Once inside the jungle, keep an eye out for semi-wild Sumatran Orangutans! You’ll have the chance to observe these incredible creatures swinging through the trees and caring for their young.
Continue your trek with a tasty snack of tropical fruits, followed by an hour of hiking to breathtaking viewpoints overlooking the Bohorok River valley and the national park.
After a jungle lunch, you’ll head to your overnight campsite, spotting wildlife like Long Tail and Pig Tail Macaques, Thomas Leaf Monkeys, and Monitor Lizards along the way.
Arriving around 4:00 PM, relax by a waterfall or riverside with a cup of tea or coffee. Enjoy a refreshing swim while your guides prepare a delicious dinner of curry, rice, and local dishes.
After dinner, unwind by the bonfire with games or stories.
Finally, sleep under a bamboo-framed tent, lulled to sleep by the sounds of the jungle!
Day 2: Wildlife and River Adventure
Wake up to a homemade breakfast in the heart of the rainforest.
Afterward, trek for 4 to 5 hours, searching for rare wildlife like jungle turtles, White-Handed Gibbons, and the Great Argus bird.
After your final jungle lunch, enjoy a thrilling “jungle taxi” ride back to Bukit Lawang on traditional tubing along the Bohorok River.
Your guide will return you to your guesthouse by 2:00 or 4:00 PM.
